Safety first, structurally
Commercially licensed and insured vehicles, chauffeurs screened before their first trip and re-checked continuously. Expired credentials remove a chauffeur from dispatch automatically — not eventually.
We built the company we wanted to book: one standard of service, one price agreed upfront, and a chauffeur who is already there when you walk out.
Lux Travely started in New York in 2019, after one too many trips that were technically fine and genuinely unpleasant. Cars that arrived late, fares that changed at the end, and nobody to call when a flight moved.
We began with a small fleet, a short list of chauffeurs and one rule: quote the whole price upfront and then honour it. That rule is still the hardest one to keep, and it is still the reason clients stay.
Today we operate in more than fifty cities, run corporate travel programmes for hundreds of companies, and dispatch through the same platform our chauffeurs and clients use. The company is larger. The rule has not changed.
Since 2019
Every operational decision is measured against these, including the ones that cost us money.
Commercially licensed and insured vehicles, chauffeurs screened before their first trip and re-checked continuously. Expired credentials remove a chauffeur from dispatch automatically — not eventually.
Late-model vehicles detailed before every journey, and chauffeurs trained in discretion. The service should be felt, not announced.
We build buffers, watch flights and traffic, and dispatch early. A well-handled failure is still a failure.
Live tracking, instant pricing and consolidated billing exist so that fewer people have to call anyone. The best interface is the one you barely notice.
Quote the whole price upfront, then honour it. Everything else we do is downstream of that one rule.
